The Porcupine Invitational is an Indigenous-led Music, Arts and Culture Festival grounded in respect for the frequencies of land, the power of the ancestral plane, the freedom of physical dance and expression and the magic of creativity. Porcupine is a celebration of our beautiful communities in Ancestral Blackfoot (Niitsitapi) Territories in Southern Alberta. Co-Founded by DJ SID and Cowboy Smithx - THE P0RUCUP1NE INVITATIONAL is a low-capacity festival which prioritizes community, uplifting new artists and renewing our love for music and visual expression. Porcupine takes place August 28-30, 2026. We are located on the Piikani First Nation - 10 minutes West of Fort Macleod, AB, Southern Alberta, at the beautiful space created at Camp Maatsowanikaapii.
