Performing: David Ramirez

David Ramirez is an Austin, Texas–based singer-songwriter whose quietly adventurous catalogue spans six full-length albums, three EPs, numerous collaborations, and the acclaimed supergroup project Glorietta. After years of balancing creativity with the pressure of what a record ‘should’ achieve, Ramirez stepped back from songwriting to regroup personally and reconnect with music on its own terms. The result is a vibrant reaffirmation of why Ramirez started making songs in the first place: not to chase approval, but to follow the thrill of sound, story, and possibility. With All the Not So Gentle Reminders, he returns full-hearted—rooted, curious, and unmistakably himself. ‘An acclaimed singer-songwriter with a haunting, introspective catalogue of piercing songs on society, r
