It's was literally made to be played live and that was abig part of the aesthetic I was looking for in Nashville, I wanted it to feel easy, free and like a ringing a bell.. some songs have that real solo spotlight, torch song intimacy to them, like the title track itself is a real solo belter, very red velvet curtain, very drama! And others I just let loose on.. that's my aim for every one that comes along. To have a choose your own adventure, a tasting plate if you will, of my approach to the genre I love and am playing in now - Americana, which takes in roots, rock, folk and zydeco even!
