Since 1993, Mark Iration has run Iration Steppas out of Leeds as one of the UK's most influential sound systems — the outfit that helped define "UK Steppers," a harder, heavier strain of dub built for serious bass weight. Tracks like Scud Missile, Kilimanjaro and Reminiscence are genre standards, and the sound system's reach runs through a generation of dub that followed, from O.B.F to King Alpha to Dubkasm. Thirty-plus years in, Iration Steppas remain exactly what they've always been called: the Vanguard of Dub. Support on the night from Heavy Congress selector Stick Maraboo, the full Roots Recycled Sound System crew. Byron's biggest sound system, a UK dub pioneer on the mic and on the dial — Dub Club #11 is a big one.</span> </p>
