Il s’est imposé depuis 2015 comme l’un des artistes majeurs de la scène synth wave internationale, avec un son puissant et direct. Puisant son inspiration aussi bien chez John Carpenter ,Dario Argento que chez Slayerou Justice, Carpenter Brut bâtit un univers cohérent, noir et stylisé, à la croisée du thriller rétro, duglam-metal, et de ladystopie futuriste. Avec Leather Temple, il clôt une trilogie amorcée par Leather Teeth (2018) et Leather Terror (2022), en livrant une œuvre totale : à la fois concept-album, bande-son de film imaginaire et expérience graphique post-apocalyptique.
