Formed through a shared love of classic organ-combo recordings, the trio blends deep-groove soul jazz, blues, and heavy instrumental funk with effortless chemistry and world-class musicianship. Their debut album, In Green / We Dream, was recorded live to tape at Colemine Records' Portage Lounge studio in Ohio, capturing the raw energy and spontaneity of three master musicians creating in the moment. With Scone's masterful organ work, James' unmistakable guitar style, and Carman's rock-solid rhythmic foundation, Parlor Greens delivers an electrifying instrumental sound that is equal parts soulful, funky, and deeply rooted in the traditions of American music.
